ABOUT ROBIN
I’m Robin Lowry, PT, DPT, OCS, a physical therapist dedicated to helping people move out of pain and into strength. I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Minnesota in 2015 after completing a BA in Psychology at Carleton College. I’m also a board-certified specialist in orthopedic physical therapy (OCS).
Since 2018, I’ve expanded my expertise with additional training in pelvic floor physical therapy, fascial stretch therapy, and extensive study in Pilates—including teaching graduate-level seminars on its application in outpatient rehab. My background allows me to meet clients where they are, whether that means calming down pain, restoring movement, or building capacity with strength training.
My practice is built on the belief that the body is wise, that people deserve power over their problems, and that lasting change comes from zooming out to understand the whole picture before zooming in on what matters most. I especially love working with post-menopausal women to help them learn to lift heavy—building muscle, bone density, and confidence along the way.
What makes my approach unique is not just the tools I use, but how I integrate them: combining orthopedic expertise with strength programming, nervous system regulation, and a focus on sustainable, progressive training. My goal is always to understand the individual in front of me and guide them toward what will be most meaningful and productive for their long-term health.
